Experienced Sales Manager

 Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced sales manager to drive our sales department forward and expand while maintaining our excellent customer service record. The role would include arranging viewings for applicants, liaising with clients, negotiating sales, marketing / listing properties and generally manage the residential sales team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Principal focus on developing increased business within our core areas
  • Handle all enquiries ensuring they are dealt with on the same day
  • Maintain records using our systems on a daily basis, chasing applicants and archiving where necessary
  • Carry out and follow up viewings with prospective purchasers
  • Effectively market and promote properties for sale
  • Give best advice to clients at all times in a professional and enthusiastic manner including valuing the property and negotiating the best possible price for the client
  • Represent vendors in negotiations with prospective buyers
  • Follow sales through to exchange and completion, using our systems to keep records up to date
  • Liaise with customers and clients in a professional, polite and respectful manner fitting of a Lakin & Co representative
  • Maintain accurate sales brochures, price lists, specification lists and displays
  • Keep up to date with trends in the local and national residential property market
  • Seek to build a sales business by using and developing contacts and creating new opportunities
  • Continually examining performance and evolve accordingly
  • Follow health and safety procedures
  • Work Saturdays on a rota basis as required
  • Hours: 9.00 am to 6.30pm, Saturday 9.30am to 4pm

Candidate Profile:

  • Excellent verbal and written and communication skills
  • Experience in Residential Agency essential
  • Focus on customer service
  • Energy and enthusiasm
  • Strong ability to influence
  • Able to quickly build rapport and long standing relationships
  • Team player
  • Must be disciplined and well organised with the ability to priorities effectively and work to deadlines
  • Able to work independently
  • Good presentation
  • Must be computer literate
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook.  Full training will be given in respect of internal systems.
  • Driving licence essential
